Biography
Over the years, 'Janet Gunn' (qv) has become quite an American
success story. After graduating from Boswell High School in
Saginaw, Texas, where she was a cheerleader for 4 years and the
Homecoming Queen, she has worked at a variety of jobs. She has sold
cars and worked as a personal assistant. She worked as a flight
attendant with Southwest Airlines for 6 1/2 years, and as one of
the world renown Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. Over the years, she
has been very involved with gymnastics, both as an athlete or a
coach. Incorporated her gymnastics and dancing talents, Miss Gunn
served as Susan Howard's stunt double on the long running and award
winning television show, Dallas. She also appeared in musicals at
Fort Worth's Casa Manana Theater. Through taking acting classes and
a great deal of hard work, she pushed herself to make a name of
Janet Gunn. In 1992, she beat out over 200 other actresses to
attain the role of Kelly Cochran in the CBS Crimetime After
Primetime series, "Dark Justice." Since then, she has starred in
movies on the big screen opposite the likes of Jean-Claude
VanDamme, Andrew McCarthy, Christopher Lloyd and Lisa Zane, to name
a few. After guest-starring in a multitude of TV series, she found
herself right where she belongs...in her own show!! Miss Gunn
starred with Chris Potter in USA-Cable's "Silk Stalkings".
