Biography
'Fran Drescher' (qv) and her high school sweetheart, 'Peter Marc
Jacobson', with who m she produces "The Nanny", were married in
1978. They have no children, but they do have a cute Pomeranian
named Chester, who played himself in an episode of "The Nanny"
(credited as Chester Drescher), and a cat called Marjorie.
Drescher's accent gives away her native New York City, but home now
is Los Angeles, where she has a three-bedroom Spanish-style house
decorated mostly with garage-sale and close-out furniture. Her
quiet neighborhood, she reports, is "very Leave-It-to-Beaverville".
